Content Standard

Content Standard 1: Students will read and respond in individual, literal, critical and evaluative ways to literary, informational and persuasive texts.

-describe the thoughts, opinions and questions that arise as they read, view or listen to a text and use relevant information from the text to summarize the content.

This standard applies to K-4 students. Students will be able to summarize stories and use the questions they may come up with about the text to predict what will happen next.
